Consistently ranked in the top 30 resort courses in the country,
Robina Woods is 6,078 meters of championship golf course carved out of
65 hectares of native woodlands. With fairways lined by towering gum
trees, this unique layout is unlike any resort course on the Gold Coast.
The rolling fairways, manicured greens, and towering eucalyptus are
strikingly beautiful and blend harmoniously with the surrounding
residential development. A natural water-course featuring lakes, ponds,
creeks and native wildlife complete a rare golf course environment.
The Tournament will be decided by a 36-hole single stroke
competition, with a daily single stableford competition run in
conjunction.
The actual tournament will be preceeded by a Charity
Golf Day played on “AMPUTEE AWARENESS DAY” Thursday the 11th
of June 2009.
This will provide an opportunity for a practice round
whilst playing in a Team Ambrose competition.
