The 2010 Golf Tournament

Nelson 19^th – 21^st October 2010

• Program:

• Tuesday 19^th - practice round at Nelson Golf course during the afternoon.

• This needs to be booked and is an optional extra. If you book a time with us we’ll combine you with others so the round with a cart is $40

• If you are arriving by plane – advise us your flight and arrival time so we can pick you up at the airport. (Cheapest option for overseas players is to arrive in Christchurch)

• Tuesday 19^th 7pm Welcome and refreshments – Waahi Taakaro Golf Club.

• Cash bar at members prices.

• For those without transport, we’ll collect and deliver you to your accommodation.

• Wednesday 20^th  9am optional trip to Mapua wharf via this regions fruit basket.

• Wednesday 20^th  1pm – 1^st round Nelson Golf Club

• Optional partners trip to craft highlights.

• Wednesday evening – Anchor & Grill restaurant / Bar.

• Very pleasant restaurant and bar overlooking the boat harbour. (try our scallops – must have for Nelson visitors and locals alike.)

• Transport to your accommodation.

• Thursday 21^st 11am 2^nd round Nelson Golf Club.

• Optional partners trip to Nelson Vineyards.

• Thursday 21^st 6pm Prize giving and dinner – Waahi Taakaro Golf Club

• Transport both ways.

For those wanting to extend their holiday in the Nelson region we will provide local sightseeing guides and information if required.

Links: Nelson Golf Club http://www.nelsongolf.co.nz/  It is a links course with a few challenges. Carts need to be booked.

Accommodation package is being negotiated and we will advise later. (there is no need to rush as October is our off-season)

Further information will only be forwarded to those who register by completing the entry form below. 

We expect the cost for two rounds plus a dinner/prize-giving to be around $150 (practice round is optional extra at $40 incl cart - share two)

We will send more information once bookings are made.

We are preparing the event like a social gathering rather than a tournament so bring the partner (or find one for the week) we will have activities like tours of local attractions for partners and players- we plan to ensure you enjoy your trip to Nelson.

If you are flying in, we can pick you up. There is a large variety of accommodation in Nelson - we'll advise any discounted arrangements soon.
